RedBird Pilates Mat
Redbird Pilates Mat classes are divided in fundamental, intermediate and advanced levels and they focus on classical Pilates curriculum, using the BASI (Body Arts and Sciences International) block system, and also include mat-based toning exercises and yoga-based stretching. Evening sessions conclude with a 10-min guided relaxation with hot towels. All new clients are required to start with one fundamental mat class, unless approved to do otherwise.
RedBird Body Engineering
RedBird Body Engineering sessions are large group classes that apply the alignment knowledge and muscle patterns taught in Pilates Mat programs to innovative, full-body toning exercises that contour and shape the body, especially focusing on toning the thighs, lifting the glutes, and slimming the upper arms and waistline. These unique exercises challenge the body through balance work, add definition to the muscles by strengthening auxiliary muscles and help to open the hip and shoulder joint. These high-energy, challenging sessions are offered to intermediate to advanced students with a solid knowledge of the fundamental RedBird Pilates principles to enhance their exercise regiment and continue to lengthen, tone and strengthen the body.
RedBird Body Engineering Chair
A workout unlike anything else you have ever done before. Chairs are used to simulate ballet bars for challenging leg exercises that really transform the glutes and thighs. Then as the sequence progresses into more complex rotations and full body exercises the chairs are used to challenge the body’s balance, set the height for leg and arm extension and create resistance from in a variety of unique angles and positions.
Fit to the Core
RedBird Fit to the Core is a high-energy class that combines classical Pilates exercises with sports conditioning and strength exercises to produce a challenging and fun full-body workout. Free weights, bands and bars are used to add resistance and build strength. Clients will learn how to apply the RedBird principles of precision, proper body alignment and core stabilization to a variety of strength training exercises and conditioning drills.
RedBird Pilates / Cardio Circuit
The Pilates Circuit Class challenges participants to use the alignment and technique of Pilates integration while moving more quickly in traditional exercise activities. 8 to 12 stations work every muscle. Stations alternate between anaerobic (high cardio intensity) and core conditioning. Reformers, trampolines, medicine and stability balls and resistance bands keep the workout challenging and fun. EXPECT RESULTS!
RedBird Cardio Dance
Although extremely aerobic, this is NOT your average aerobic class. Each dance is choreographed specifically to music from well known, contemporary artists. All choreography is taught with focus on technique, safety and proper execution. As with all of our classes, this program is authentic, fun and challenging.
