Lee Vallely, Founder & Director
President and Founder of RedBird Pilates, J. Lee Vallely has dedicated her life to movement and wellness. In 2001, she founded her Strength Through Length programs, which are a fusion of best practices in Dance, Pilates and Yoga. She is a BASI-certified Pilates instructor and has over 20 years experience in the health and wellness industry.
Before opening RedBird Pilates and Fitness, Lee was the National Director of Corporate Sales for Gold's Gym International. She designed and implemented the initial corporate sales division for the company and managed their national sales team. During the 8 years prior to to Gold's Gym, Lee was owner of Austin-based World Gym club chain. Lee spent her first five and a half years in the fitness industry as Senior Fitness Director with the YMCA of Austin. Lee came to the fitness industry after a five year career as a professional ballet and modern dancer in San Francisco and New York City.
Lee holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Alabama in Birmingham (UBA) with a specialization in dance. She has been industry speaker on the topic of corporate sales at many IHRSA and Club Industry National Conventions and a guest panelist at several World Gym conventions. She won Best Corporate Program for World Gym for five consecutive years and is accredited by the American Council on Exercise and certified as a National Fitness Specialist.

Elisabeth Kristof, Assistant Director
Elisabeth Kristof has been Assistant Director of Redbird Pilates and Fitness since 2009. She is a Body Arts and Science International certified Pilates instructor and AFFA-certified personal trainer. She has worked as fitness trainer and instructor since 2005. Her focus in fitness is to develop lasting change for clients through education, sustainable and progressive training programs and development of support communities.
Elisabeth has a Master's of Journalism from the University of Texas at Austin and a B.A. in International Affairs from the University of Colorado at Boulder. The focus of her writing and reporting is public health and wellness. Elisabeth employs her journalism skills to help develop the Redbird website and social media initiatives, where she produces videos and writes articles that deepen clients understanding of the Redbird philosophy and the Pilates practice.
